Miele Oven Does Not Heat Up

If your Miele oven won’t heat up, the solution could be as simple as resetting the cooking mode. A Miele oven that won’t heat can be caused by a number of failed parts, such as a blown fuse or a faulty thermostat. However, if your Miele oven does not heat up, the first thing you should check is the fuse box to make sure the fuses are intact. If they are, check the mode settings as described below:

0:00 Appears Unexpectedly on Miele Oven Display

If 0:00 is displayed on your Miele oven, this indicates that it has been operating for an unusually long period of time. When this happens, your oven will activate the “Safety switch-off feature.” To reset your display, turn the mode selector to OFF. The oven is now ready to use.

Error Code F33 Appears on the Display

If your Miele oven shows error code F33 on your oven’s display, it means that the door lock for the Self Clean program will not deactivate. This can be caused by a variety of issues, such as a jammed lock or a malfunctioning sensor. If your oven is displaying the F52 error code, try the following steps:

  • Check to make sure that the door is properly closed and latched.
  • Check to make sure that there are no obstructions blocking the oven door.
  • If there are no obstructions, try resetting the oven. To do this, turn the mode selector to OFF. The oven is now ready to use.

If the F52 error code continues to appear, contact an authorized Miele technician for further assistance.

Error Code FXX Appears on the Display

If the FXX error code appears on your oven’s display, it means that a fault has occurred that you cannot resolve. In this case, you will need to contact an authorized Miele technician for assistance.

Error Code F32 Appears on the Display

If F32 appears on the display, it indicates that there is a problem with the Self Clean program door lock. Attempt to clear the display by turning the mode selector to the self-clean program again. If the display doesn’t clear, contact a Miele technician for a complete diagnosis.
